The accommodation utilises boarding rooms in 2 buildings set in the pleasant grounds of Christ College. The College therefore needs to ensure that you fully understand relevant terms and conditions for the kind use of their property and facilities prior to booking. These are set out below:
Arrival:
· From 3pm (no earlier) on Sunday 21st July (administered by WOA representatives)
· Boarding house door codes will be issued and set-up explained so everyone is familiar with the layout and rules
· Attending compulsory Fire Alarm drill before Dinner at 5:15pm on Sunday 21st July
WOA Representatives:
· A WOA Representative will be housed in each block and act as a first point of contact should any queries arise regarding the accommodation and/or catering. The WOA Reps can then liaise as appropriate with College staff.
What’s provided:
· Rooms are within 2 Boarding blocks within the College Grounds and are without locks
· Rooms vary from single, double, 3, 4 and 5 person, all single beds
· Shared bathroom facilities
· Bed linen is provided (towels are not provided)
· Catering is optional- Further information is shown in the Catering section
· Parking for those staying in the accommodation is provided on site where space permits
General:
· No dogs, cats or bicycles permitted within the buildings ( dogs are not permitted on site)
· Cleaning staff will be entering the boarding houses to clean common room areas daily and bedrooms will be hoovered as and when necessary
· Beds and furniture not to be rearranged or moved
· Should any repairs or checks be required, service staff may enter if necessary
· Only registered guests may stay at the boarding house and non-registered guests may not
· Abide by the rules as presented on the notice board including no smoking/vaping in the house or use of illegal substances
· Any damage to school property must be reported promptly to the WOA reps. This will require payment (and will be dealt with by WOA with any refunding between the guest and WOA who will liaise with the College on any such issues arising)
Health, Safety & Security
· Any small electrical appliances such as hair dryers, straighteners, must be switched off when not in use. Heat resistant pads should be brought with any small electrical appliances, if necessary. Phones must not be left unattended whilst on charge
· Ensure all fire & health and safety procedures are noted and followed
· The external door to each Boarding block has a code to secure entry. Please ensure the boarding house code is not divulged to anyone other than those staying in the boarding house and to ensure the main doors are closed at all times
· WOA are not being held responsible for the loss of any valuables
Cancellation Policy:
· In the event of bookings being cancelled, WOA retain the right to retain 100% of accommodation fees unless the room(s) can be re-booked
· If the names of competitors using accommodation are changed, the names must be given to the WOA Representatives
Departure:
· Vacate rooms by 8am on Saturday 27th July
