Welcome to the Welsh orienteering multiday festival, Croeso!
The next event will be staged in the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons National Park) from the 21st to the 27th of July 2024.
We have six days of great orienteering planned suiting all abilities from families to those wanting to be challenged. Some fantastic new areas are waiting.
July 21-27, 2024
Brecon Town Aberhonddu
- 6 events, with the top 4 events counting towards the overall competition.
- A mix of long-distance (4 races) and middle-distance (2 races).
- Competition is divided into age categories: seniors have long and short categories, juniors are divided into A or B.
We have a selection of new and old areas planned - a mixture of technical sand dunes, and classic Welsh open limestone moorland.
There will be a full range of courses for all ages with courses also suitable for novices and beginners who want to give orienteering a try.
In addition to the main competition there will be:
- Maze o / String courses for youngsters
- Rest day sprint in Brecon
- Training Day / Model
We are very pleased to have secured the use of Christ College, Brecon to act as a central focus for the event including the provision of accommodation and catering options.
Croeso is an exciting week-long orienteering festival held every four years in the stunning Welsh countryside. It's the perfect family-friendly holiday event, with participants of all ages and abilities coming to experience what Wales has to offer.
